I got so wrapped up in things that I totally neglected to post shots from Kristie and Ryan's wedding last July. This one's her favorite. I'll be putting a few more up soon!

abandoned mill

All the pictures I had seen of this mill were accompanied by vague locators like "Gatineau Park", "Meech Lake area" or "West Quebec".  We took a few detours to find it and now that we have, I think I understand the motivation for a modicum of secrecy: other than a few scratched initials, this site is in great shape.  It really would be a shame to see it overrun, either by vandals or visitors. So unless there's a feature in an upcoming weekend paper, I think I may remain vague too. I realize this is more selfish than altruistic, but so be it. I can't wait to shoot this site once the snow has fallen.
